Advisory Curriculum 

During 9th and 10th grades, all students take an AVID elective class on their schedule for the year.  This course is designed to allow ECHS faculty to monitor student progress in college classes.  It also provides study skills and college readiness skills.  Students will start with AVID 1 elective class their Freshmen year.

During the 11th grade, students take a College and Career Readiness course.  This course is designed to assist students with tips for the SAT/ACT, preparing to apply for college, deciding on the right college and career choice, etc.  Students also study Making Collaborative Groups Work: Student Book 2 by Tracey Hurst.  

During the 12th grade, students take a Pathways course.  This course is designed to assist students on applying for scholarships, preparing to transition to a university or the workforce, etc.  This course curriculum is designed by the ECHS counselor to best fit the needs of the ECHS student.
