AHS tennis players recognized
Four members of the Athens High School varsity tennis team were recently recognized for their superlatives performances. (From left) Seth Red was named to the Texas High School Coaches Association All-State First Team, and Sam and Seth Briggs made Second Team. Red and both Briggs were also named to the Texas Tennis Coaches Association All-State Team, as was (far right) Haylee Armendariz.
